Egypt may have to prosecute the Russia 2010 World Cup without their playmaker, Mohammed Salah, who was injured in the final of the UEFA Champions League at the Olimpoysky Stadium, Kiev in Ukraine.
Salah was in serious pains after he was hacked down by Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid as the Egyptian burst into an uncontrollable tears as he was substituted by Lalana in the 30th minutes.
Salah has been on the front roll for the Ballon d’Or this year but that dream may be thwarted if he misses the global football fiesta that begins in Russia on June 14. At first half, millions of his fans all over the world are waiting for reports from the medical team.
Few minutes after Salah blow to both Egypt and Liverpool, Real Madrid also had to substitute strongman Daniel Carvajal due to forced injury. He also wept like a baby obviously aware of what fate is hiding in the womb of time for his World Cup chances.
The exit of Salah in the 30th minute apparently swung the pendulum as Madrid took over control immediately. The commentator simply concluded that it would not be wrong to say Salah is Liverpool and Liverpool is Salah.
