Head of Female Football League, Ayo Abdulrahman, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, COO, to the League Management Company, LMC. The appointment was approved by the Acting General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Dr Emmanuel Ikpeme.
The latest development is sequel to the directive for the LMC Chairman, Shehu Dikko, and COO, Salihu Abubakar, to step aside following their committal to prison.
Abdulrahman, a seasoned administrator has been an unsung hero in the development of the various arms of the league dating back to the commencement of professional league in 1990.
He has been Assistant Secretary of the Pro-League, Assistant Secretary of Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, and Assistant Chief Sports Officer before his appointment as Head of Female League.
Abdulrahman will bring to bear his wealth of experience, hardwork, integrity, honesty and expertise to the league and ensure the smooth conclusion of the league.
