Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar who recently became the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential flag bearer today visited his former principal, Olusegun Obasanjo, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
Hassan Kukah, Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel and Sheikh Ahmad Gumi were also there.
Clearly, it was a reconciliation meeting. In other words, it was to make Obasanjo who had been threatening fire and brimstone not to support Atiku as 2019 inches closer change his mind.
Other PDP leaders, led by Chairman, Uche Secondus, were also present to bring truce.
