Zidane Fires Real Madrid Players,Says I’m Not Here to Fail

Real Madrid returnee coach, Zinedine Zidane has told his players that his second coming to the club must be better than his first experience which was a huge success. He warns that irrespective of their differences, the club must soar again like the eagle.

Zidane addressed the squad on Wednesday for the first time since his appointment and assured them that “we start from zero”.

“Forget about the past,” he said. “We start from zero, everyone, no matter what was the situation of each one of you.

“No matter anything we’ve done before. No one has won the job and nobody has lost it. These months that are left are going to teach us a lot…”

Zidane inherits the squad from Santiago Solari with six new faces: Thibaut Courtois Vinicius Junior, Alvaro Odriozola and Brahim Diaz were all signed after his departure, plus two others are from Castilla – Sergio Reguilón and Fede Valverde.
