President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed-door meeting with the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governors Forum, in Abuja.
The meeting which is holding at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, started at about 11.37am.
APC Governors present at the closed door meeting included those of Lagos, Ekiti, Edo, Plateau, Niger, Kogi, Borno, Nasarawa, Yobe, Osun, Ogun while Katsina and Kaduna were represented by their deputy governors.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, were also at the meeting.
The forum is led by Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu.
At the time of this report, there has been no official report as to the agenda of the meeting. But a source said the president’s new cabinet could be on the table.
