The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has reacted to the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

Nigerians on social media had called on their compatriots to boycott South African products and services in Nigeria in retaliation for the violence against their countrymen in South Africa.

Urging Nigerians to embrace peace, Adeboye, in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, @PastorEAAdeboye, on Wednesday, called for an end to the violence.

The tweet read, “Please shun Violence, its dividends last a lifetime. Let us all embrace peace and remember that regardless of our race, color or language, we are all of God. #saynotoxenophobia.”
