Rape: High Court Summons COZA Pastor, Fatoyinbo

By Biyi Adeyera

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Monday, summoned Biodun Fatoyinbo, the founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) to answer questions over allegation of rape made against him by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo.

The Crest recalls that Busola Dakolo had accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of having forceful canal knowledge of her when she was a teenager. She had approached an Abuja High Court demanding that the pastor apologies to her publicly.

Today, however, the embattled pastor was served with an order to appear in court within the next 14 days.

The court summon reads in part: “You are hereby commanded that within fourteen (14) days after the service of this writ on you, inclusive of the day of such service you do cause an appearance to be entered for you, in an action of Mrs. Busola Dakolo; and take notice that in default the claimant may proceed, and judgement may be given in your absence.”
