Names of Presidential Aides Fired in Osinbajo’s Office Revealed

Influential northern newspaper, Daily Trust, has published the list of 35 presidential aides attached to the office of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

Prominent on the list of the affected aides is Ajibola Ajayi, daughter of former governor of Oyo State, Alhaji Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi. She was appointed Special Assistant (Legal) to the President (VP’s office) in August 2019. Prior to that, she had been Special Assistant to the President on Bureau of Public Enterprises, BPE (VP’s office) from October 2015 to May 2019.

Also on the list are Lanre Osinbona, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on ICT; Imeh Okon, SSA on Infrastructure; Jide Awolowo, Special Assistant(SA), Oil & Gas; Gambo Manzo, Special Assistant, Political; and Edobor Iyamu, Senior Special Assistant, Niger Delta.
