Aliko Dangote Needs £2bn to Buy Arsenal in 2021

Africa’s richest man and big Arsenal Football Club fan,  Aliko Dangote will have to offer £2 billion for him to realize his dream of buying the top English Premier League team in 2021.

The billionaire has made his intention known to buy the Gunners but the Business mogul has been told that he will have to offer the sum of £2 billion.

According to the report on UK Mirror, Aliko Dangote is currently focusing on other projects and he is planning to submit a massive bid for Arsenal in the coming year. In January this year, Aliko Dangote made it clear that he has the intention of becoming the owner of Arsenal and he will be prioritizing his desire possibly in the year 2021.

“I’m not buying Arsenal right now, I’m buying Arsenal when I finish all these projects, because I’m trying to take the company to the next level,” Dangote explained.

Arsenal is currently being owned by American billionaire Stan Kroenke and there has not been any report whether the 72-year-old wants to sell the Gunners. Bob Ratcliffe who is the brother of one of British’s richest men Jim explained that it will cost anyone the sum of £2 billion to buy Premier League teams in top six.

Years back, Bob and his brother were interested in buying Chelsea before they ended up buying French side Nice. While talking with the Financial Times’ Business of Football, he made it clear what is required for the takeover of any top six club.
