COVID-19: Nigeria now Has 51 Cases, Says NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Wednesday night, confirmed, via tweet, that  cases of coronavirus in the country has jumped to 51.

“Five new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 2 in FCT, 2 in Lagos & 1 in Rivers, 3 are returning travellers and 2 are close contacts of a confirmed case,” the the NCDC said, adding that: “As at 11:25 pm, 25th of March, there are 51 confirmed cases, 2 discharged and 1 death.”

This brings to a total of 32 cases in Lagos, 10 in the FCT, 3 in Ogun State, 1 in Oyo State, 1 in Edo State, 1 in Bauchi State, 1 case in Osun State, and 1 in Rivers State.
