Ekiti State Government has directed that residents of the state can resume to their offices and carry on with their businesses Mondays through Fridays from 6 am to 8 pm.
Fayemi revealed this in a state-wide broadcast on Sunday evening, while also saying “consultations are underway to reopen religious worship centres, schools, and big markets in the state”.
The Governor, Kayode Fayemi also noted that public officers on Grade Level 8 and above are to resume immediately for duty, while those below Level 8 should remain at home till changes are made.
The Governor also added that the state was working tenaciously on protocol that will allow religious houses to reopen soon without putting the health of worshippers at risk.
According to the Governor, the dusk-to-dawn curfew will still be active from 8 pm till 6 am.
