The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has urged passengers to arrive at least three hours before take-off time, ahead of the reopening of airports.
FAAn says this is necessary to allow passengers go through the COVID-19 checks, which would be compulsory.
The agency revealed this in a tweet on Monday.
The tweet read: “#COVID-19 Flight Resumption Protocol for Passengers: You are advised to arrive at the airport three hours before your flight due to the new COVID-19 safety checks.”
Earlier, the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 had announced June 21, as the date pegged for the resumption of domestic flights.
However, the resumption of domestic flights will be determined by the readiness of airports, according to the PTF.
