The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, on Saturday night, announced that it has recorded 779 fresh cases of coronavirus in the country, the highest daily number of cases.
The Centre revealed this via a tweet on its official Twitter handle.
The tweet revealed that Lagos new cases ensured that it remained the hotspot of the virus in the country.
A total number of 8,625 have been discharged while the number of deaths increased to 558.
