The All Progressives Congress, APC, has categorically denied that its National Legal Adviser, Ahmed El-Marzuk, has resigned.
In a rebuttal issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Fidelis Morka, the APC said El-Marzuk remains the party’s National Legal Adviser.
The fake news went viral Thursday as the 12th National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the party went underway in Abuja.
The fake news came even as the dust generated by the sudden resignation of the former National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore, is yet to settle.
