President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated with a former Deputy Chief of Staff in the Presidency, Prince Olusola Akanmode, who turned 70, today, Tuesday, August 18, 2020, praying that the Almighty God will continue to bless and strengthen him with good health and prosperity.
A statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President, Mallam Garba Shehu, said Buhari “joins family members, friends and political associates in celebrating with the former Secretary to the State Government, Kogi State, who brought his wealth of experience, maturity and wisdom to serve in the Presidency, leaving a legacy of integrity and kindness,”
The President, Shehu continued, “believes Prince Akanmode’s versatile experience as a distinguished public servant, who served in many committees and special task forces, at the State and Federal levels, played a great role in the (country’s) notable achievements in infrastructure and human development, commending his selfless and diligent spirit.
“As the former Deputy Chief of Staff turns 70, the President urges steadfastness in the solid foundation he has laid as a public servant.”
In addition to positions, Prince Akanmode was Chief of Staff to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar during his tenure as Nigeria’s Vice President.
