Death has once again sneaked into Nigeria’s business world and took the Executive Chairman and Founder of Peak Petroleum Industries Nigeria Limited, Sir Moses Adekola Oluokun.
A release by the family revealed that Sir Oluokun passed last Friday, November 6, 2020, aged 77.
The departed oil magnate was a retired Commissioner of Police, and one of the pioneer Directors of then Nigeria Security Organization (NSO) that morphed into present day Department of State Security Services (DSS).
An Elder at the Foursquare Gospel Church of Nigeria, Sir Moses Adekola Oluokun was born in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on November 22, 1942.
After a glorious career in the Nigeria Police Force and the intelligence community that took him to virtually all the states of the federation, Sir Oluokun plunged into the business world after his retirement in 1986.
As an entrepreneur, the departed business mogul established various companies in which he served as the Chairman and Director. Until his demise, he was the Executive Chairman and Founder of Peak Petroleum Industries Nigeria Limited.
The Oluokun Family, in the press release, said funeral arrangements for their patriarch would be announced later.
Sir Oluokun is survived by wife, children and grandchildren.
