After debunking rumours that he was dead ten days ago on his hospital bed, veteran journalist Bisi Olatilo, has been discharged after testing positive for COVID-19.
The celebrated broadcaster who speaks three languages fluently; Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo is fit and healthy, a trustworthy source can confirm.
Olatilo joins a host of celebrities who tested positive for the virus and a few who beat the deadly virus.
After spending days at the Lagos isolation centre, Olatilo has tested negative for the virus.
According to our source, the Managing Director of Biscon Television shared this goodnews via a text message, which reads: “Thank God, the doctors say I’m fully recovered…In fact, discharged already…Heading home any moment from now.”
Olatilo had declared that he was positive for the coronavirus, but wasn’t dead on January 15, where he was seen with his wife sitting beside him with a facemask, after rumours had begun to grow wings that he was dead.
