IHDA Congratulates New Lagos, Ondo APC Executive Members

A socio-cultural group under the aegis of Ikale Heritage Development Association, IHDA, has described the success of last weekend’s All Progressive Congress, APC, elective congress in Lagos and Ondo states as the dawn of yet another glorious era in an effort to reposition the states.

Chairman of the group, Otunba Sola Olatunji in his messages to the new Executive members of the states applauded the peaceful conduct of the congresses while calling on them to see their victory as a clarion call to make APC more formidable in Lagos and Ondo states in order to prepare the ground for the 2023 Elections.

“The Ikale Heritage Development Association, is highly impressed with the smooth and peaceful conduct of the APC congresses in Ondo and Lagos,” Olatunji said. “We congratulate the new Lagos Chairman, Ojelabi and his executive members on their victory as we salute the doggedness and return of Adetimehin in Ondo State.”
Olatunji also calls for a smooth and seamless transition in both states urging the new executive members to hit the ground running as preparations for the 2023 general elections should begin in earnest.

Olatunji specifically praised Adetimehin’s fidelity to his party in Ondo State saying: “I am impressed with the sterling qualities of Adetimehin in Ondo State.  He is a committed party man who always seeks the success of his party in electoral contests. He is dogged and hardworking.”
Olatunji admonishes the new executive members of the states not to allow unhealthy grouping within the party to rock the boat but always work for the interest of the party.

Olatunji also heaps praises on Governors Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos for their astute leadership in the states which eventually gave birth to last Saturday’s victories.

A former member of the House in the 6th Assembly and former Commissioner for Rural Development in Lagos, Cornelius Ojelabi, emerged as the state chairman of the APC.

In his acceptance speech, Ojelabi promised to work assiduously with other executives to return the governor of Lagos State in 2023.
