Three months and one week after Rev. Dr. Wilson Adebogun Badejo, former General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, passed suddenly at 74, his widow, Rev. Mrs. Yinka Badejo, has passed to glory.
Mrs. Badejo, preacher, marriage counselor, prolific writer and founder of the Dew of Heaven Ministry, died in the early hours of Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the age of 72.
Although neither Foursquare nor the Family is yet to issue a statement on thee unfortunate incident, Family sources said Rev. Mrs. Badejo had been ill before her husband’s sudden demise.
Mrs. Badejo, who held first and second degrees in Library Science from the University of Ibadan where she met her husband in their undergraduate days, was known for her passion for charity, compassion for orphans, widows and the barren.
She plunged herself fully into these causes after the tenure of her husband as Foursquare General Overseer in 2009, establishing the Dew of Heaven Ministry.
Throughout her Ministry, whether in Foursquare or outside of the organisation, Mrs. Badejo never shifted focus in her profound care for women, especially those looking for the fruit of the womb and mature ladies desirous of marriage.
