Pen-Cinena Bridge: Sanwo-Olu Resettles Displaced Families

Fourteen families which were displaced during the construction of the Pen-Cinena Bridge in Agege area of Lagos State have been resettled.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu handed over apartment keys to them on Wednesday at the unveiling of the ‘Greater Lagos LBIC apartments’ at Ogba-Ijaye, Pen-Cinema.

The apartments consist of 48 units of 2 and 4-bedroom maisonette

A release signed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Gbenga Omotosho read : “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has opened the Greater Lagos LBIC Apartments in Agege. It was built for those displaced by the Pen Cinema Bridge about five years ago.

The Government handed over the keys to the allottees free of charge. They hailed Mr Sanwo-Olu, who they described as a promise keeper, for restoring them to the place in which they had lived for over 30 years.”
