Duro Onabule, ex-Babangida Chief Spokesman, Dies at 83

Former Chief Press Secretary to the Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, Chief Duro Onabule, has died at the age of 83.
Popularly known as ‘Double Chief’, Onabule, a veteran journalist, and former Editor of the National Concord between 1984 and 1985, died Tuesday evening, according to family sources.
Another veteran journalist and close associate of the departed ex-presidential spokesman, Chief Eric Teniola, also confirmed Onabule’s demise.
Cause of Onabule’s death remained hazy as at the time of this report.
