The convoy of the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, has reportedly broken down over a bad road which the state government refused to fix.
The incident, happened at Olambe area of the state.
The governor’s convoy was said to be on the way to a scene of the awful conflagration caused by a falling fuel tanker in the Olambe region when the press crew bus broke down inside stagnant water due to the poor condition of the roads leading to the area.
According to an eyewitness, a Hilux bus was required to tow the vehicle out of the water before it could resume its trip.
On arrival at the location, the governor, who was represented by his deputy, Noimot Salako, offered to assist people impacted by the unfortunate conflagration.
