The new British Prime Minister, Liz Truss, addressed the new King of Great Britain, King Charles III, as ‘King’ for the first time Thursday while paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II in front of 10 Downing Street.
“We usher in a new era in the magnificent history of our great country, exactly as her Majesty would have wished by saying the words God save the King,” she said outside her Downing Street office.
