Oba Gabriel Ayodele AdejuwonFrom the awesome confines of Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja, a great honour has landed in Isan Kingdom, as the Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM Oba Gabriel Ayodele Adejuwon, also the Onisan of Isan Ekiti, bags the National Honour of the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, CFR.
The good news was revealed in a press statement issued by the media adviser to the paramount ruler, Alhaji Dauda Lawal.
The award is in appreciation of the monarch’s contribution to national development, as well as the peace and progress of his home state, Ekiti State.
President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval of the CFR award to Oba Adejuwon, Adetila Ilufemiloye 1, was conveyed to him in a letter dated September 16, 2022, and signed by the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-government Affairs, Senator George Akume, also a former two-term governor of Benue State.
According to the letter, the official award ceremony will hold on October 11, 2022, at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja.
