The Asiwaju of Ijesaland and President of Ibadan Business School, IBS, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, Thursday, December 14, 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Governor of Osun State, Chief Adegboyega Oyetola in his office in Abuja.

High Chief Fasuyi told The Crest that the visit was to formally congratulate the Minister for what he described as Oyetola’s “meritorious appointment into the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu.”
Congratulating the Minister on behalf of Ijesaland, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi admonished Oyetola “to sustain his pedigree of hardwork, diligence to service, and his hallmark of humility in relating with the public stakeholders in this new calling.”
Fasuyi challenged the Minister to justify the confidence that  President Bola Tinubu and, indeed, all Nigerians reposed in him by making him the pioneer Minister of the newly created Ministry
“Honorable Minster,” Fasuyi continued, “I implore you to do your best and make history not only as the pioneer Minister, but with innovative and creative value addition to the socioeconomic advancement of Nigeria Nation.”
In his response, Chief Oyetola thanked the Asiwaju of Ijesaland for the visit and for his usual support, and that he considered it a honour for Fasuyi, whom he holds in very high esteem, to make out time to pay him a courtesy visit in spite of his very busy community responsibilities.
Oyetola told his visitor that he had delightedly watched how Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi had been responsibly and satisfactorily discharging the huge responsibilities that history placed on his shoulders for his people in Ijesaland.
He assured Fasuyi that he would leave no stone unturned to justify the confidence that President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians reposed in him.
