A former Chairman of Ilesa West Local Government Area of Osun State, Hon.. Oluniran Fajuke, has lost his mother.
Madam Florence Ayoola Fajuke, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 93.
Fondly called Mama Kofo, Madam Fajuke, a devout Christian, was a prosperous business woman who dealt in textiles.and rentals.
Married for many decades to Hon. Luyi Fajuke, who served as Chairman of Ilesa Local Government during the time of Chief Bola Ige as Governor of old Oyo State, the late Madam Fajuke is survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Announcing her peaceful transition, Hon. Oluniran Fajuke described his late mother as “a pillar of strength, wisdom, and grace in our family—a woman whose life was marked by faith, love, and service.
“She touched many lives with her kindness, counsel, and unwavering devotion to both God and family. Her legacy of humility, prayer, and generosity will remain with us for generations to come.
“While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate a life well lived—full of purpose, impact, and fulfillment. We thank God for the years He gave her and the blessings she brought into our lives.”
Hon. Fajuke said the funeral rites for his departed mother will be communicated in due course.
“Please keep the family in your prayers during this time of reflection and remembrance,” he implored.
