The Adamawa State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has, Friday evening, dismissed a petition filed by the All Progressives Congress, APC, challenging the victory of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 general elections.
While delivering judgement which lasted over 9 hours, the lead judge, Justice Adediran Adebara, declared that the petitioner failed to prove its case beyond all reasonable doubts; the petition lacked merit, and consequently dismissed it.
The judge averred that even the witnesses of the petitioner, APC, were inconsistent in their submissions prompting him to discard their submission.
