The All Progressives Congress, APC, on Wednesday, officially announced that the meetings of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee, will hold on Monday, December 15, 2025, and Tuesday, December 16, 2025, respectively.
The party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, who made the announcement on the party’s website on Wednesday, said both meetings will hold at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The National Caucus, one of the organs of the party under Article 11 of the APC Constitution, will convene on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. It will be attended by key party stakeholders.
These include: the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser, National Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, National Woman Leader, National Youth Leader, National Leader of Persons Living with Disabilities, past and present Presidents and Vice Presidents of Nigeria who are party members, presidential and vice-presidential candidates, past and present Senate and House leaders, serving and past Governors, state party chairmen, former National Chairmen and Secretaries, Zonal Chairmen, and other designated representatives.
“All Members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with Article 11.5 of the Constitution,” the notice stated.
Similarly, the NEC meeting has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The NEC is one of the organs of the party under Article 13.1 of the APC Constitution.
According to the notice, the NEC meeting will be attended by: “the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Legal Adviser, Deputy Legal Adviser, National Treasurer
“Deputy Treasurer, National Organising Secretary, Deputy Organising Secretary, National Financial Secretary, National Publicity Secretary, National Auditor, Deputy Auditor, Deputy Welfare Secretary
“National Woman and Youth Leaders, Deputy Leaders, State Chairmen, zonal representatives, and members elected by the National Convention, among others.”
“All Members of the National Executive Committee are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.3 of the APC Constitution.”
