Nollywood has been thrown into deep mourning as top actress, Peju Ogunmola lost her son, Ayomikun Olawanisola.
The sad news, according to reports, was broken on Tuesday by another Nollywood actress, Biola Adebayo, who posted it on her Instagram page.
Ayomikun Olawanisola, 24, was the only son that Peju Ogunmola had for veteran thespian, Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Aluwe.
Sunday Omobolanle married two wives but lost one. His first wife, Kudirat Folasade Omobolanle, had one boy and two girls, namely: Kemi Olayemi, Victoria Bello and Sunkanmi Omobolanle-a popular actor.
Since the news of Ayomikun Olawanisola’s broke Tuesday, a deluge of tributes have been pouring for the deceased, with industry colleagues and fans pouring their hearts out.
Describing the loss as devastating, saying: actress, Biola Adebayo, wrote on her Instagram wall:.
“This is a big loss. This is devastating and heartbreaking. This is tragic. May God almighty comfort Mummy Peju Ogunmola who just lost her only child.
“May God Almighty be with the family and loved ones at this tough time,” she wrote.
Popular actor, Odunlade Adekola, also mourned in an Instagram post ,saying, “This is a big loss. God will console you ma …… and the whole family. E le yi po oo.”
While Kunle Afod shared his pain, saying: “Hmmmm. My heart has been very heavy”, another popular actor, Femi Adebayo, said: “Life has written a line too heavy for the stage… Today, we mourn with our dear elder, a thespian whose heart now carries the weight no mother should bear.”
