Power Glitch Forces Multichoice to Suspend BBNaija Broadcast
The thrilling Season 10 of the most watched programme in Africa, Big Brother Naija, BBNaija, went off the air on Friday as ardent viewers expressed shock over the development.
Multichoice Nigeria, owners of the very popular reality show attributed the break in transmission to a power glitch.
However, in a public notice shared on its Instagram handle, the company assured viewers that the housemates were safe and its engineers were working to rectify the challenge and resume normal broadcast.
“We’re currently experiencing a temporary break in Big Brother Naija transmission due to a power issue,” Multichoice explained in the post.
“Rest assured, the housemates are safe and sound.
“Our technical team is working swiftly to restore power and normal service. Thank you for your patience.”
The organizer, however, added a light-hearted slant to the message when it urged fans to “grab a snack, stretch your legs,” promising that “premium entertainment” would resume shortly.
