The All Progressives Congress, APC, refused to sign the election result sheet of the Edo governorship election shortly before the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Governor Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, winner of the exercise.
The APC agent refused to sign the result sheet when Returning Officer called him to do so.
“I have my party’s instruction not to sign,” the agent, a man, said, and walked away.
