The fiancé of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, has claimed that the actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Onadeko made the claim in an interview, while insisting that Osoba’s previous battle with breast cancer was not responsible for her death.
He also denied allegations that the actress was poisoned, maltreated or that money donated towards her cancer treatment was diverted.
According to him, he received a call from an unidentified person around midnight informing him that Osoba had died at a police station in Ikorodu.
Onadeko, however, said he did not know the specific police station where the actress allegedly died.
Osoba, who died aged 40, had previously spoken publicly about her battle with breast cancer, including her treatment and surgery.
The prophet also rejected claims that Osoba had been prevented from driving, saying she drove herself to Iperu, Ogun State, shortly before her death.
He further dismissed allegations of mistreatment, including claims that the actress was punished by having faeces or urine poured on her.
The circumstances surrounding Osoba’s death have not been independently established.
