Fresh trouble poured, Wednesday, for Ademola Adeleke, the dancing Senator who is expected to bear the flag of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Osun State.

Hours after the West African Examination Council, WAEC, cleared of any wrong doing concerning WASC certification, the Nigeria Police Force slammed charges of examination malpractices, impersonation and criminal conspiracy against in at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Police spokesman, Jimoh Moshood, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, broke the news to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.

He said investigations had revealed that Adeleke and his brother, Sikiru Adeleke, registered and sat for the National Examination Council Examination, NECO, in 2017 as internal candidates, thereby impersonating students of the school at the ages of 57 and 42 years respectively.

The police also disclosed that the School Principal of Ojo-Aro Community High School, Egbedore Local Government Area, Osun State, and three others would equally be charged for abetting the crime.

The implication of this is that Senator Aadeleke, known more for his funny dancing steps than his contributions on the floor of the Senate, may be disqualified from standing in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in Osun.
