The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC has announced the suspension of the nationwide strike started last Thursday. NLC president, Ayuba Wabba told newsmen at the NLC secretariat in Abuja that the leadership of the union had been assured that the government will soon call a meeting of the tripartite committee for the discussion on the new minimum wage.
