The governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has applauded the election victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in last Saturday’s Presidential election saying it is a total victory for Nigerians,
Bello who was with the President-Elect at the International Conference Centre, Abuja where the President was presented with the Certificate of Return was full of praises to the electorate who also saw through the President’s prism and joined in the move never to return to our Egypt again through their overwhelming votes.
Bello called on the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, to embrace the olive branch from the President and join in the new drive to take the country to the next level.
“INEC did a great job,” Bello said. “The next level is what everybody is looking for right now. And if we look at what Mr President has done in his first term, we call all believe that he is going to do better in the second term.”
Judging from his performance, we can see that the economy has improved tremendously, security is better now and the down trodden are so happy now as being expressed through their votes.
