Lord God, Nigeria is in your hands. Nigerians are your children. If it is our sin that has brought us so much hardship, pains, bloodshed and loss of lives, kindly have mercy and forgive us.
In less than one week, we have had the sadness of Super Eagles exit from the World Cup in Russia to the killing of over 100 persons in Plateau, down to Armageddon in Lagos tanker explosion where the death toll is yet unknown.
There is too much sorrow in the land. Father, we need your divine help at a time like this and as always. As we approach the general election in 2019, many say, uncertainty reigns given the daylight display of thuggery in the National Convention of the governing party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Jehovah, in your mercy and awesome ways, silence all those troubling Nigeria both from within and outside our shores. Destroy those troubling Nigeria spiritually, physically and otherwise. Put them to shame that seek to disturb the peace and progress of Nigeria and Nigerians. Expose the vampires among us who take delight in watching Nigerians bleed to death by sponsoring blood-thirsty headhunters against innocent Nigerians.
Father, heal our country of known and unknown ailments…..Answer the prayers of the saints oh Lord. Navigate our path out of the murky waters of political sorcery and our sins. Indeed, we are sinners oh Lord and our sins are the major source of our problems. Have mercy Lord…..mercy Father….mercy, mercy, mercy El-Shaddai… AMEN!
