It was a gory scene at one of the polling units in Okota, Lagos as one of the hoodlums that burnt ballot boxes at Polling Unit 23 located on Baba-Ewe Street/Ago Place Way Okota in Oshodi/Isolo LGA of Lagos State has been set ablaze by irate voters.
All hell was let loose as angry voters ran after him and set him on fire. Okota has one of the largest populations of Easterners in Lagos.
The name of the victim was not revealed as at the time of this report but an eye witness told The Crest that the voters were apparently acting on the order of the Federal Government to the military to crack the fortress of all ballot box snatchers.
