After whistle-stop visit to Maiduguri, Buhari jets to UK
Less than 24 hours after his one-day official visit to Lagos, Wednesday, where he commissioned a number of projects executed by the state government, President Muhammadu Buhari, Thursday, undertook another trip to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, where he commissioned some developmental projects.
The projects are in the education, healthcare and roads sectors of the state’s economy.
At the end of the one-day visit to the Borno State capital, Buhari will embark on a private visit to the United Kingdom.
A release by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the president on Media and Publicity, hinted that Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria on May 5, 2019.
