Does a toad come out in the day time without something chasing it? This was the big question at the Aso Rock Monday evening as the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, met with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He met the president alongside other traditional rulers on Monday evening.
It was not clear if issues revolving around his crisis with Governor Umar Ganduje was discussed as President hosted him and others to a fast-breaking meal at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Four Emirates were recently carved out of the old Kano Emirate by Governor Ganduje. It will be recalled that the passage and signing of the bill took about four days.
Other traditional leaders who joined the president in the Ramadan breakfast included the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
