Katsina Residents Take to The Streets To Protest Bandits’ Attacks
To fend off the incessant attacks by bandits, hundreds of residents of Yan Tumaki in Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Tuesday, trooped out on the streets to protest the deadly attacks on the community.
The protesters comprised of men, children wielding objects that could pass as weapons.
They were seen to chant war-themed songs and blame President Muhammadu Buhari and the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Wasari for not helping out despite the relentless attacks by the bandits.
Katsina is one of the states in the North-West that has continued to be attacked by armed bandits.
In the space of two months, no less than 150 people have been killed by bandits Kankara, Dutsinma, Musawa, Danmusa and Safana local government areas of the state
