More suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing of the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Super TV, Mr. Usifo Ataga.
This was made known on Wednesday by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, while parading the suspects at the police command headquarters in Ikeja.
He said a case of conspiracy had been established.
His words: “We have established a case of conspiracy in the murder and we have arrested more suspects.”
It would be recalled that 21 years old Chidinma Ojukwu had on June 24 confessed to killing Ataga.
The University of Lagos student said she stabbed Ataga to death.
However, on Monday, Chidinma made a u-turn, claiming that she was actually not the killer.
In an interview on Monday, she said: “I don’t know what happened when I left the room to buy food. Because of what I did after by not alerting the police and also withdrawing money from his account, I feel guilty for what happened but I did not kill him.”
