In line with his desire to improve the lot of his constituents, Senator representing Ogun West in the National Assembly, Sen Tolu Odebiyi, has commenced the Tolu Odebiyi Undergraduate Scholarship Award.
The award, he says, will cover tuition for brilliant undergraduates who are having challenges and they are expected to receive N100,000 every year until graduation.
The Ogun West Senator says it is importance to assist the students so as to perform well and achieve their dreams.
Senator Odebiyi said: “The aim is to strengthen economic prosperity in my constituency by providing higher education scholarships to students while also creating possible pathways to gainful employment.”
Odebiyi who was Chief of staff to Sen. Ibikunle Amosun, former Ogun State governor, added: “The Education sector is a critical sector of our economy, we want to ensure that our best students are giving the opportunity to reach their maximum potentials by helping them to make ends meet.
“We look forward to seeing what their bright futures will hold. As I have said during my acceptance speech in February, I will stand shoulder to shoulder with you by raising higher the flag of progress and prosperity for the people of Ogun West. This is just a tip of the iceberg.”
