As correctly reported, last week, by The Crest, President Muhammadu Buhari has formally re-appointed Mr. Femi Adesina as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, just as Mallam Garba Shehu, who has also returned as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity.
Similarly, Mr. Laolu Akande has returned to the Presidential Villa as Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, in the Office of the Vice President.
The three appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
The Crest learnt from a credible source that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Mr. Boss Mustapha, conveyed the President’s approval to the returning appointees on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.
Other returning appointees in the president’s media team include: Tolu Ogunlesi, Special Assistant (Digital Media), and a new entrant, Mallam Buhari Salau, Special Assistant, (Online Media).
The Next Level cabinet of President Muhamadu Buhari will be inaugurated on Wednesday when the recently appointed Ministers take their oath of office.
The retreat for both returning and newly appointed ministers, which began yesterday at the Banquet Hall of the State House, Abuja, ends today.
