The last may not have been heard on the attempt by some political forces to make the immediate past governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, account for his stewardship.
After a failed attempt by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to search the home of immediate-past governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, the is set to probe him.
This time, the push is coming from the Lagos State House of Assembly, which on Tuesday, set up a committee to probe the purchase of 820 buses for public transportation in the state by the Ambode administration.
The embattled former governor who was prevented from running for a second term by his political godfathers has been under the watchful lens of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The committee will be chaired by Fatai Mojeed and one of its mandates will be to investigate the purchase of 820 buses meant for public transport but which never grazed the roads.
