Few days to the Special Presidential Investigation Panel (SPIP) prosecution of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, bigwigs on September 26, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission, ICPC, on Friday sealed the house of the second vice-president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at No. 1 River-Benue street, Maitama, Abuja following their investigations on the alleged monumental mismanagement of funds meant for the development of grassroots football in the country..
The house according to report was sealed this morning at 10:00 am.
President Muhammadu Buhari appointed the new chairman for the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) in February 2019 and has directed him to start working on all the corruption cases before the anti-graft agency.
Bolaji Owasanoye took over from Musa Abubakar who was appointed in an acting capacity to head the ICPC in March 2018 and has started working part of which is the sealing of the house of the chairman League Management Company as investigation continues.
