COVID-19: Fresh 438 Cases, As Total Closes on 40,000
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Saturday, has announced that the country has recorded 438 fresh cases of coronavirus in the country.
This was revealed in a tweet on the centre’s official Twitter handle.
The report stated that the country now has discharged a total of 16,948 patients after they had tested negative for the virus. Meanwhile, the deaths saw an increase, as a total of 856 fatalities have now been recorded.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country is now 23 shy of 40,000.
