The grim reaper has sneaked into the church and claimed a man of God, Pastor Samuel Olugbade Aina, a popular preacher in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The popular pastor, teacher and evangelist, passed on to glory peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the age of 70, the family has announced.
Until his death, Pastor Aina was the founder of Pillar of Grace and Truth Ministry with 11 branches in Ekiti State.

He was a regular face on the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, Ado-Ekiti, on every Sunday, where he reached out to millions of viewers with his highly inspirational programme, Timeless Truth.
A graduate of the University of Lagos, Pastor Aina started his ministry over a decade ago, and within thee period his Ministry recorded phenomenal growth.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Oseyemi Aina, nee Olamiti, a younger sister of Sir Folu Olamiti, former Resident Consultant of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Related Offences Commission, ICPC, now publisher of the popular online newspaper, Newspot, and many children.
Apart from his church functions which he performed diligently until his death, Pastor Aina, two weeks ago, gave out his daughter in marriage. And he was full of life, radiating God’s glory.
This made the news of his death more shocking to parishioners in Ado-Ekiti and, indeed, across Ekiti State, who said the man of God never took ill nor showed any sign of his imminent departure.
Family sources said funeral rites for the late Pastor Aina would be announced later.
