Buhari Commiserates With Ganduje Over Rano Emir’s Death
The President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday, commiserated with the Kano State Government and Council of Chiefs over the death of the Emir of Rano, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar Ila Auta Bawo.
Buhari, mourned the royal father in a statement released by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu
According to the President, the monarch’s experience, wisdom, nobility will be missed “especially at a time the government is relying on traditional rulers to sensitise citizens on directives for safety”.
The statement continued, “President Buhari urges his family and the Emirate to find solace in the good works of the deceased and ensure his legacies are carried on.
“The President prays that the almighty God will forgive the shortcomings of the Emir, remember his good works and grant his soul eternal rest.“
