Sanwo-Olu Storms Okitipupa, Praises Ikale Heritage Association for Supporting Akeredolu
Lagos State governor and All Progressive Congress, APC, chairman for the October 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu stormed the campaign ground in Okitipupa Monday commending the Ikale people for their support during his election in March 2019.
The governor met with the traditional rulers and political leaders at the Local government council auditorium where he praised members of the Ikale community in Lagos under the auspices of Ikale Heritage Development Association headed by Otunba Sola Olatunji, for supporting his governorship ambition.
He described Ikales as good people and thanked the royal fathers for the ‘support we are getting from them’.
Sanwo-Olu said: “Ikale people are good. Ikale indigenes in Lagos State supported me and the APC during my gubernatorial bid, and I urge them to replicate the same feat for Gov Akeredolu in Ondo State.”
Sanwo-Olu assured Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on his re-election victory on October 10, stressing that the Ikale Heritage team would play vital role during the campaign and election.
On getting to the podium, Sanwo-Olu formally acknowledged Ikale Heritage Development Association as a stakeholder in the organization of the rally. He spoke glowingly of another daughter of Ikaleland in his government, Solape Hammond Agagu.
