The Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, Mr. Abubakar Malami, Tuesday night, flatly denied knowledge of any case filed in any court in the land against former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The AGF was fielding questions from Channels Television’s flagship political programme, Politics Today.
There were reports, recently, that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had concluded investigations into corruption allegations against the two-term governor of Lagos State, and was, in fact, re-opening a case against him.
But when pressed for comments on the matter during the exclusive interview, the AGF said to the best of his knowledge, his office was not involved the re-opening of a case against Tinubu.
